About The Position
Responsible for managing projects for small to large, often complex steel construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of construction plans, documents, specifications, and contracts within the structural steel fabrication industry. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, from initial review to final delivery, ensuring successful completion of commercial building projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years working directly for a structural steel fabrication company
- Steel Construction experience
- Candidates must be in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Tekla EPM and/or Excel templates (or similar software experience)
Responsibilities
- Reviewing & understanding construction plans, documents, specifications and contracts
- Planning, Organizing, and Controlling large commercial building projects
- Reviews and understands bid documents, including all specifications and scope of work.
- Communicating with Vendors, General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Detailers, etc
