As a Project Engineer in our Structural Practice, you’ll take on a key technical and coordination role, owning complex design challenges, guiding junior engineers, and shaping the delivery of innovative structural solutions. You’ll work across disciplines, contribute to project management, and begin stepping into more client-facing opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Proficiency in tools like SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint Software, and Revit
  • Experience designing steel, concrete, and timber systems
  • Solve complex problems with confidence, balancing priorities, and adapting designs effectively.
  • Strong communication and emerging leadership, with a commitment to mentoring junior staff and building your professional presence.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and refine structural analysis, design, and detailing tasks, adapting technical skills and solving project challenges with strong engineering judgment.
  • Drive the quality of deliverables by organizing information clearly, reviewing junior staff’s work, and tailoring outputs to project scope and contractor needs.
  • Coordinate proactively with architects and engineers, taking increased responsibility for day-to-day technical decisions.
  • Support and mentor junior team members through effective delegation and feedback, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Grow your leadership skills by assisting with project management activities, contributing to proposals, and engaging in client-facing opportunities.
