In a team-oriented work environment, under moderate supervision, performs a variety of structural assembly operations in a production department. This role involves the assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including various drilling and riveting operations, ensuring that parts and assemblies meet all specified requirements. The Structural Mechanic I will utilize various tools for riveting, read and interpret blueprints and work orders, and maintain all necessary logs and records. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a neat and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations, and supporting company programs like 5S and Lean Activities. The position requires the ability to work with composite resins and materials, lift up to 50 lbs, and work any shift, including climbing ladders/stands/stairs and working in confined or restricted areas. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential.
