About The Position

The Structural Intern gains real-world experience by contributing to exciting engineering projects. The intern applies standard engineering techniques and procedures while working under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. The role also provides opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs. The intern will learn to read and interpret drawings and specifications (contract documents) and review fabrication (shop) drawings from contractors. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in the employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have completed two years toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
• Local candidates preferred.
