About The Position

This position ensures a safe and structurally sound facility through the inspection of rock surfaces and the removal of loose or questionable rock from those surfaces. The person occupying this position will operate various types of heavy equipment and inspect the underground mine while removing any loose material found. The person occupying this position will serve as a contact person for vendors and tenants within the Real Estate Division and is expected to represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• High level of comfort with scaling operations, heights, and physical exertion
• Attention to detail and heightened awareness of safety
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Exhibit a high level of safety awareness
• Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as required
• Valid Driver's License
• Frequent lifting of up to 80 pounds
• Long periods of overhead work must be tolerated
• The ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the operation of heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or CDL

Responsibilities

• Inspect rock walls and ceilings in a developed underground mine
• Remove loose material found on walls or ceilings in a safe manner
• Perform preventative maintenance or other minor repairs to ensure that equipment is in good working order
• Operate various equipment required to perform tasks
• Assist with pallet racking repairs
• Assist with snow and ice removal
• Perform work in a safe manner and comply with safety policies and programs
• Assist with facility and grounds maintenance
