White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Structural Heart RN Clinical Program Coordinator for our Cardiology Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. The role is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of the structural heart program, ensuring compliance with national standards for quality of care for heart failure patients as determined by the American College of Cardiology and governmental regulation for CMS compliance. The coordinator leads the development and implementation of program goals and operations, educates nursing and ancillary staff on best practices for symptom recognition and assessment related to structural heart conditions, Aortic stenosis, and Mitral regurgitation. They also develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, and evaluate orientation programs for the structural heart Program, facilitate practice transitions of healthcare team members, and provide guidance for care to the interdisciplinary team. Additionally, the role involves enhancing the program through compliance with continuing education requirements for nursing and physicians, assisting staff in preparation for program accreditation, promoting cohesive work teams, and collaborating with other departments for patient-centered care. The coordinator models and encourages professional practice and sustains personal professional curiosity.
