About The Position
AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for its Transportation business in Latham, New York. The internship is designed to build practical, hands-on skills beyond academic learning and support the transition from student to professional. Interns receive duties intended to provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience in their field of study. AECOM’s Transportation business works with clients to plan, design, manage, modernize, and expand transportation systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Intend to continue the university program after the internship unless graduating.
- Have completed two years of study in the program.

- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the Windows operating system.
