This role involves performing structural analysis and design for infrastructure and building projects, preparing construction documents, conducting field investigations, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–10 years of structural engineering experience in the United States.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with bridges, waterfront structures, transportation, or public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for infrastructure and building projects.
- Prepare construction documents, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Conduct field investigations, inspections, and condition assessments.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Support project management activities and client communication.
- Contribute to innovative solutions for Hawaii's unique environmental and construction challenges.
