The firm is seeking an ambitious degreed Structural Engineer for its Arlington, VA (DC area) office. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges and aims to grow their career, possessing basic knowledge of and exposure to building design. Bala is a leader in innovative designs for building systems across various sectors including High Rise, Mission Critical, Multi-Unit Housing, Commercial Office, Higher Education, Transportation, Adaptive Reuse, and Life Science facilities. New hires will be engaged in a comprehensive training program to build a strong technical base.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in structural or civil engineering, with relevant internship/co-op experience
- 0-4 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- General knowledge of applicable codes
- Strong technical writing
- Presentation and client interface ability

- EIT accreditation a plus (PE preferred)
