About The Position
This role is for a Structural Engineer in the Lexington, SC area. The engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing structural steel connections, reviewing shop drawings for design accuracy, and collaborating with project management and engineering teams to deliver cost-effective, efficient solutions. This is a permanent, on-site position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 1+ Years of Structural Engineering Experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD, MathCAD, Bluebeam
- Knowledge of AISC Codes
Responsibilities
- Designing and optimizing structural steel connections (braced frame, truss, moment, and shear connections)
- Reviewing shop drawings for design accuracy
- Collaborating with project management and engineering teams to deliver cost-effective, efficient solutions
