About The Position

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Structural Engineer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects through the planning, design, and construction phases. The engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications related to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design. Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.

  • Nuclear experience preferred
