About The Position

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Central Region. This role offers great growth potential. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems, as well as for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems. The role involves developing construction documents, providing construction administration services, and performing site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
5-8 years of structural engineering experience
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency preferred
