About The Position
KAI Hawaii, Inc. is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Honolulu. This role involves performing structural analysis and design for infrastructure and building projects, preparing construction documents, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. The engineer will also conduct field investigations, inspections, and condition assessments, and coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams. Additionally, the position supports project management activities and client communication, contributing to innovative solutions for Hawaii's unique environmental and construction challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–10 years of structural engineering experience in the United States.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience with bridges, waterfront structures, transportation, or public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
