About The Position

Keller Associates, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer (EI) for its Coeur d'Alene, Idaho office. The role works collaboratively with engineers, engineer interns, CAD technicians, and other disciplines on a variety of projects throughout the Northwest. Project markets include retail, commercial, and education; municipal water and wastewater infrastructure; transportation and bridge structures; and water and wastewater treatment facility upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• The posting lists 2+ years in structural engineering design under required skills and 0–4 years of relevant professional experience under Education and Experience.
• Working knowledge of common structural engineering software, including Excel, MathCAD programs, EnerCalc, RISA, and STAAD.Pro.
• Experience or ability in bidding and construction administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Detail and design steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Develop plans and specifications.
• Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports.
• Support project bidding and construction administration.
• Perform construction observation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
