About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer (PE/PEng) to lead and support the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures across industrial and commercial projects. This role involves technical leadership, independent design execution, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities to lead medium-sized projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis required)
- Professional Engineer (PE/PEng) license required
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural analysis/design
- Proficiency with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Must be located in the Northwest U.S. (AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, WY) or Canada
- Must be authorized to work (no visa sponsorship available)
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Experience in industrial or semiconductor facilities
- Experience leading teams or projects
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead structural analysis and design for steel and concrete systems
- Apply U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC), including seismic design
- Develop design concepts and oversee production of construction documents
- Review calculations and ensure quality control of engineering work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project delivery
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
- Support project planning, scope definition, and schedule adherence
