About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with 15 or more years of experience in structural engineering and a broad understanding of both design and construction. This role involves investigating structural engineering-related incidents, analyzing procedures, writing reports, and providing expert testimony. Prior forensic experience is not required, as the company provides training. The work is consequential to industry and society, offering continuous learning opportunities alongside nationally respected experts. The role blends collaboration with autonomy within a firm of over 100 professionals managing a portfolio of 50-70 projects/clients.

Requirements

Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
15+ years of hands-on structural engineering experience.
Broad structural and vertical construction experience (horizontal experience is a plus).
Construction management, maintenance, and structural design experience in residential, industrial, institutional, or commercial structures.
Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
A clean background screen.
A driver’s license.
Ability to drive.

Nice To Haves

S.E license is a plus.
Horizontal construction experience is a plus.
