About The Position

This role is for a hands-on structural engineer that wants to work on emerging technologies utilized in some of the most critical and demanding missions in the aerospace and defense industry. As a Structural Liaison Engineer at SNC, you will play a key role in the fabrication, production, and continuous improvement of hardware and payloads installed on a variety of specialized aircraft. As the primary technical liaison, you will work directly with various airframe structural modifications in a production environment, collaborating closely with Design Engineers, Quality Engineers, Program Mangers, and the structures technicians that build our designs. This role is located at SNC’s Aviation Innovation and Technology Center (AITC), a brand new, state‑of‑the-art large‑aircraft integration, modification, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) campus located in the Dayton, Ohio region. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.
