Requirements

Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university is required
Five (5) to seven (7) years of structural design experience including various building systems and materials
Professional Engineer Licensure is required.
Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including RISA 3D and RAM Structural System.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently
Applicable U.S. based work experience.

Nice To Haves

Masters of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university is preferred
Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure is a plus
Revit experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform structural design of various building projects. This includes development of design documents, calculations, specifications, and construction administration
Design structural systems of cast-in-place and post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood framing for a variety of healthcare, commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, mixed-use and institutional buildings
Other duties as assigned
