About The Position
Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) is a full-service structural engineering firm established in 1993. We provide comprehensive engineering services including project planning, feasibility studies, conceptual and design development, construction documentation, and construction-phase support. We are seeking a Structural Drafter to join our team onsite in our St. Louis (Richmond Heights) office. At RAE, we are committed to creating opportunities for individual success. Requirements
- 2+ years of structural drafting experience using Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
- Experience or academic background in a related field (Design/Drafting, CAD, BIM Technology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Revit for model creation and construction documentation
- Ability to coordinate Revit models with other disciplines
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to clear, consistent documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
- This is a full-time, in-office position
Responsibilities
- Create 3D Revit models to produce plans, sections, details, and construction documentation
- Apply redline revisions accurately and efficiently
- Follow RAE’s established BIM standards, templates, and workflows—and contribute feedback to support ongoing improvement
- Participate actively in team discussions and coordination efforts with other disciplines
