About The Position
We have a client located in Galveston, TX with an immediate hiring need for a Structural AutoCAD Drafter. This position will be utilizing your AutoCAD skills for drafting and design projects. This position is a CONTRACT TO PERM role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be done on-site at our location in Galveston, TX.
Requirements
- Minimum, 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD
- 2D AutoCAD experience drafting/detailing stairs, railings, handrails, and structural steel components
Responsibilities
- Generate accurate 2D drawings and models in accordance with project specifications
- Prepare detailed layouts, plans, and installation/construction drawings for equipment configurations and support areas within a manufacturing facility.
