Structural Designer
About The Position
The Structural Designer will be responsible for initiating personal objectives aligned with organizational goals, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the complete design process, and contributing to design improvements. This role involves utilizing codes and standards, identifying and questioning inefficiencies in symbology, and performing assigned work efficiently to maximize productivity. The designer will also conduct quality checks within a team environment to ensure accuracy and prepare detailed structural drawings and models using CAD/BIM software. A key aspect of the role is interpreting and applying engineering calculations, specifications, and design criteria to produce accurate design documents.
Requirements
- 10-20 years' relevant experience in civil/structural design.
- Experience with SmartPlant
- Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC, or Petrochemical industries.

- Utilize codes and standards to complete assignments.
- Recognize inefficiencies or misuse of symbology and questions.
- Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize person productivity.
- Performs quality checks of the design in a team environment to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and models using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant).
- Interpret and apply engineering calculations, specifications, and design criteria to produce accurate design documents.
