Designer, Structural
About The Position
As a Structural Designer, you will work within a team to take design and construction projects from a defined concept to completion. You will design building systems, perform engineering calculations, produce construction documents, travel to job sites, and prepare technical documentation while coordinating your work with an integrated team of designers, architects, and engineers. The position is open to remote work from any location in the United States and requires travel approximately once a month, locally or overnight, by car and/or plane. Candidates must be able to rent a car and travel by air. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent work and/or technical education experience.
- Previous experience in structural engineering design for buildings and producing construction documents.
- Demonstrated experience and competency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Comfortable working in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
- Able to travel approximately once a month, locally or overnight, by car and/or plane.
- Able to rent a car and travel by air.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working on restaurant, grocery, retail, or healthcare projects is ideal.
