About The Position

Seeking a Structural Design Engineer to support our client in Greenville, SC. US Citizenship is required to perform this contract. The Contractor will plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects. This includes preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
• Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Nuclear experience preferred.
