Structural Design Engineer (3-6 years experience)
About The Position
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer who can contribute immediately to active projects with minimal ramp-up. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical foundation who is comfortable taking ownership of design tasks, working across multiple projects, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a key part in the execution of ongoing projects, contributing to both technical design and overall project delivery. You will work across multiple active projects, applying engineering judgment to real-world constraints including timelines, budgets, and coordination across disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 3 years of structural design experience
- Ability to contribute with minimal ramp-up
- Experience working on multiple concurrent projects
- Strong understanding of real-world project delivery
- EIT required
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software
- Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- PE in progress or recently obtained preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects
- Take ownership of design tasks across multiple active projects
- Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and construction documents
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to move projects forward efficiently
- Apply engineering judgment to meet project timelines and client expectations
- Support and mentor early-career engineers
- Participate in site visits, field coordination, and client interactions
