This position determines the cause of structural failures, damages, and defects through site investigations. Develops specifications for use during construction and ensures all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations. As a Structural Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will involve drafting and modeling documents. Additional responsibilities include picking up redlines in a documentation set, engineering support in the form of standalone analysis modeling, and documentation tasks within a larger project on project teams under the direction of a Senior/Project Engineer or Department Head Engineer. Within this role, you will be expected to have an active and direct role in document production as well as active interface and coordination with other disciplines.
