About The Position

A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their Louisville office. The role involves managing structural engineering project tasks, including scope and budget creation, directing design, and coordinating with staff and design teams. The Project Manager will also analyze and design transportation-related structures, serve as a client contact, assist with proposals, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

8+ years of bridge design experience
Registered PE
Experience leading a project
Highly proficient with structural analysis and design software
Strong knowledge of bridge construction materials (Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete), construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
Proficient with MicroStation and ORD platforms
Project Management experience with DOT clients
Team Leader

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering a plus
Structural Engineer licensure preferred
Bride Inspection certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage structural engineering project tasks including creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff/design team members
Sign/seal work as required
Analyze/design transportation-related structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations)
Serve as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials
Assist with the preparation of engineering project proposals
Collaborate with Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures
