About The Position

A civil engineering firm with multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their office near Cincinnati. This role involves managing structural engineering project tasks, including scope and budget creation, design direction, and coordination with staff and design teams. The position requires analyzing and designing transportation-related structures, serving as a client contact, assisting with proposals, and ensuring safety compliance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of bridge design experience
• Registered PE
• Experience leading a project
• Highly proficient with structural analysis and design software
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction materials (Steel, Cast-in-Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete), construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
• Proficient with MicroStation and ORD platforms
• Project Management experience with DOT clients
• Eagerness to work on a wide variety of project types
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• Structural Engineer licensure
• Team Leader Bride Inspection certification

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering project tasks including creating scope and budgets, directing the design, and coordinating work with other staff/design team members
• Sign/seal work as required
• Analyze/design transportation-related structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations)
• Serve as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and local officials
• Assist with the preparation of engineering project proposals
• Collaborate with Leadership, Project Engineers, and other team members to develop effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures
