Structural/Bridge Project Manager
About The Position
A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Structural/Bridge Project Manager for their St. Louis office. The role involves being a team member of the Structural/Bridge Design Group, managing projects by directing design, coordinating work, and creating scope/budgets. The position requires analyzing and designing bridges, culverts, foundations, and other transportation-related and building structures. The Project Manager will serve as the main contact for clients, contractors, and local officials, and will prepare engineering project proposals. The ability to work in a team environment is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- 8+ years of bridge design experience
- Registered PE
- Registered IL Structural Engineer
- Project Management experience with DOT clients
- Experience leading projects through collaboration with team and managing tasks
- Proficient in MicroStation/ORD platforms and structural analysis/design software
- Knowledge of bridge construction materials including Steel, Cast -in -Place Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete
- Knowledge of construction methods, structural inspections, and construction document preparation
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineer preferred
