About The Position
Great opportunity for a Senior Structural/Bridge Engineer looking for a company with growth! This role involves leading the design, preparation of plans, estimates, and specifications for bridges, performing structural analysis and design with a focus on Florida Highway and Tollway structures, reviewing shop drawings, mentoring and training junior staff, building and maintaining client relationships, and inspecting bridges and highway structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
- 6+ years of structural design of bridges experience per FDOT standards
- PE License
- Working knowledge of MicroStation
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
- Ability to develop details, drawings, and plan sheets in MicroStation preferred
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design programs preferred
- Experience with OpenBridge Modeler and Designer software preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead design/prepare plans, estimates and specifications for bridges
