About The Position

The Engine Components and Thermal Systems (ECTS) structural analysis team of Large Power Systems Division is seeking a structural analyst. The team supports New Product Introduction (NPI) and Current Product Improvement (CPI) activities for cooling and aftertreatment components and systems. The analyses the team performs can be very challenging, involving complex phenomena such as engine and machine vibration and forced response, material nonlinearities, exotic materials and complex geometries. Perform structural system analysis and simulation for structural integrity, response, performance, and service life of aftertreatment and/or cooling components and systems. Provide product design and development teams with timely conclusions and best actionable recommendations and solutions. Work to continuously improve the accuracy of analysis processes and tools.
