About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Job: Structural Analysis Engineer Level 3 to work at Warner Robins, GA. This position is for the 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 12:30 AM) with a Work Schedule of 9x80 A (Monday–Friday). The role requires the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD Clearance. The engineer will perform structural analysis on launch vehicle and ground support components, analyzing damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling. Responsibilities also include performing structural engineering activities related to dynamics and loads, stability and stress, fatigue, and thermal analysis, utilizing NX CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience; OR PhD in STEM with 1 year of related engineering experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Strong structural analysis background with demonstrated work experience and knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with standard word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to take direction, demonstrate initiative, and complete assigned work in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or PhD in a related field.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Experience working with high-performance flight structures.
  • Experience using FEMAP and NX NASTRAN finite element analysis software.
  • Experience with ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar analysis software.
  • Research and experience involving high-temperature structural mechanics.
  • Knowledge of thermal loading, advanced high-temperature materials, structural response, and development testing.
  • Working knowledge of CMC material systems.
  • Experience with scripting and AI applications in engineering and data science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
