About The Position

Stretch Zone is hiring motivated team members who want hands-on experience working directly with clients in a preventative and recovery-focused wellness setting. As a Stretch Practitioner, you’ll work one-on-one with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including those looking to improve mobility, reduce pain, recover from physical limitations, prepare for surgery, or support recovery after procedures. This is an incredible opportunity for students or recent grads who want meaningful client interaction and real-world experience in human movement, anatomy, recovery, and wellness. The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness. Requirements

  • Base knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work is recommended as a minimum prerequisite to SZM.

  • Interested in physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, sports medicine, chiropractic, exercise science, kinesiology, applied physiology & kinesiology (APK), pre-med, nursing, physician assistant, or other health and wellness careers.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Support client recovery from physical limitations, pre-surgery preparation, or post-procedure recovery.
  • Provide client care.
  • Educate clients on anatomy and movement.
  • Support client mobility and recovery.
  • Work with diverse physical conditions and limitations.
  • Build client communication and relationships.
  • Identify postural and movement limitations.
  • Correct or mitigate postural and movement limitations through specific applied stretching sessions.
