About The Position

Stretch Zone is hiring motivated team members who want hands-on experience working directly with clients in a preventative and recovery-focused wellness setting. As a Stretch Practitioner, you’ll work one-on-one with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including those looking to improve mobility, reduce pain, recover from physical limitations, prepare for surgery, or support recovery after procedures. This is an incredible opportunity for students or recent grads who want meaningful client interaction and real-world experience in human movement, anatomy, recovery, and wellness. The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness. Requirements

  • Base knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Personable and energetic.
  • Passionate about health and helping people.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.
  • Interested in movement, anatomy, or wellness careers.
  • Attached a cover letter to stand out amongst the other applicants.

Nice To Haves

  • Students or recent grads.
  • Pursuing PT, OT, athletic training, sports medicine, kinesiology, APK, exercise science, chiropractic, PA, nursing, pre-med, or related fields.
  • Personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF.
  • License in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with clients of all ages and backgrounds.

  • Identify any postural and movement limitations, then try to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions.
