Lovelace Women’s Hospital has 173 licensed beds, including a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Requirements

HS Diploma.
Knowledge of Anatomy, physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree in a CVT program from an accredited institution
Certified Medical Assistant
experience in physiology
Paramedic or EMT
basic Arrhythmia course
completion of an EKG course.

Responsibilities

Assists cardiologists with cardiac procedures and exams, including stress tests.
Maintains and monitors systems, equipment, and supplies for assigned department.
Performs complex and technical electrocardiograms per the request of a physician in the diagnosis of arrhythmias.
Utilizes MUSE operation and functions to include acquisition, editing, transmission, and retrieval of data.
May provide clerical support for assigned departments.
Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
