About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking experienced Stress Analysts at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role will provide Stress Analysis support to structural proof/acceptance testing, real-time test support, and post-test model correlation. The analyst will perform Stress Analysis of composite and metallic structural parts using classical analysis techniques and finite element models. Additionally, the role involves performing Stress Analysis support for quality non-conformances, including those that may result from structural testing. Responsibilities also include fatigue and fracture assessment, drawing reviews, Stress Analysis Report updates, analysis presentations, coordinating with the NASA customer as necessary, and providing deliverable Stress Analysis documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical/Aerospace/ Electrical/Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred) and 3-5 years of experience/or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Significant experience with FEMAP and NASTRAN.
  • Experience with analysis of aerospace structures is also required.
