Strength Equipment Assembler (full-time)
About The Position
Keiser is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented candidate for the Strength Assembly Department. This position involves producing finished equipment by assembling parts and sub-assembling items using hardware and small tools. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, willing to be trained, and possess an excellent attendance record. Responsibilities include reading and deciphering schematics and assembly instructions, assembling valves, air seals, and minor electronic components, using hand tools or machines to assemble parts, and conducting quality control checks. This is a temp-to-hire position, with employees evaluated after 90 days for potential company hire.
Requirements
- 6 months previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and write English
- Knowledge of reading assembly drawings and diagrams
Nice To Haves
- 1 year in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of how Keiser fitness equipment works
- Passion for exercise and wellness
- Knowledge of computer system parts and operating systems
Responsibilities
- Tightening nuts and bolts using various chemicals such as thread lockers, lubricants, and soldering
- Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and system quality issues
- Stay current on required employee training
- Suggest updates and improvements to existing procedure
- Report to work as scheduled
