About The Position

The Strength/Conditioning Specialist will develop, implement, and modify individualized strength and conditioning programs to optimize fighter aircrew performance and reduce injury risk. Instruct proper exercise techniques, monitor progress, adapt training for injuries or limitations, educate participants on safe training practices, and maintain program documentation. The Strength/Conditioning Specialist is expected to wear approved professional clothing appropriate to the environment while on duty. Footwear will be closed-toe, flat-bottom, and completely cover the feet; fluid resistance and non-slip soles are preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • National Background Check with Inquiries, Fingerprints, and Drug Screen.
  • All personnel must be fully trained, licensed/certified, and qualified under Vermont and industry requirements.
  • Must maintain Strength/Conditioning Specialist certifications/licensure.
  • Must hold and maintain active CPR/AED certification.
  • Must demonstrate enhanced neck/back injury training such as McKenzie Method or equivalent.
  • Copies of all certifications and resumes must be forwarded with your application.
