About The Position
The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join its Streets & Fleet Division. This role helps maintain the safety and appearance of city streets and infrastructure through street repairs, equipment operation, grounds maintenance, and pavement marking.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Texas Driver License.
Nice To Haves
- Street maintenance experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain city roads, patch asphalt and concrete, repair potholes, and seal cracks.
- Operate manual and motorized equipment, tools, mowers, and compactors.
- Perform grounds maintenance and trim vegetation along rights-of-way.
- Paint crosswalks and parking lines on city streets and lots.
