About The Position

The Street Sweeper Driver is responsible for safely operating a Class B Street sweeper for construction, commercial, industrial sites and roadways. This role involves performing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining all required certifications. The driver must adhere to all safety programs, inform mechanics of any maintenance issues, and maintain various records and logs as needed per DOT regulations. Additionally, the driver will fuel the truck at the end of each workday and communicate professionally with management, employees, and customers.

Requirements

Valid Minnesota CDL Class B.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license.
Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B Street sweeper for construction, commercial, industrial sites and roadways.

Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT.
Adhere to all OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property.
Inform on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles.
Maintain various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations.
Fuel truck at the end of each workday.
Communicate professionally and effectively with management, employees, and customers.
