About The Position

This role involves locating gas distribution facilities, including main and service lines. The Street Service A will act as a lead employee, overseeing one or more employees in tasks such as pinpointing leakage, making repairs, and replacing services or portions of mains in accordance with company policies, procedures, and approved codes.

Requirements

Two (2) years experience as Fitter or equivalent.
Ability to use various types of tools needed for repairs of plant facilities.
Possession of a valid Ohio commercial driver's license (CDL).
Certification to operate company trucks under DOT/Ohio Motor Carrier Safety Regulations for intra-state drivers.
Ability to prepare legible records.
Ability to understand written and oral communications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Subject to DOT Anti-Drug Plan and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan (AMPP) regulations.
Must live within 25 miles and 30 minutes from the Operations Center due to emergency response obligations.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of DIS and WMS.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations concerning pipeline safety and underground construction practices.
