About The Position
This position exists to enhance the current services offered by The Salvation Army to persons experiencing housing and/or food insecurity, in a manner that provides dignity for all.
Requirements
- Post secondary education in a related field or 1 year experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid
Nice To Haves
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Food safe Certification are an asset but not required
Responsibilities
- Planning, preparation and distribution of daily meals
- Receiving, sorting and distribution of clothing and hygiene items.
- Visit with clients and make referrals as necessary
- Updating Link2Feed, report distribution
