About The Position

The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain heavy and light equipment. Employee works under moderate direction from his/her Crew Leader or Supervisor. Employee must abide by all safety rules and operational policies and procedures and perform all other duties as needed or required.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience in the operation of heavy equipment.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination, background check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in street maintenance or construction.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical principles.
