About The Position

Responsible for performing skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized electrical distribution lines and equipment up to 600volts without supervision. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Troubleshooting, repairing, installing and removing overhead streetlight and guard light circuits, replacement of light heads, bulbs, photo electric eyes, and refractors.

Requirements

• 1 year minimum electric distribution construction experience required
• Qualified to work on energized low voltages of up to 600 volts
• Able to climb wood poles
• Operate a bucket truck
• Perform pole top rescues
• Basic skills in math
• Fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English
• Computer literate
• Required to have and maintain Driver License

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• State wide travel preferable
