About The Position

This is a routine manual labor position. The work involves both light and heavy physical labor in a wide variety of construction, maintenance, repair and beautification projects throughout the jurisdiction. This position involves working in various weather conditions. Applicants must have working knowledge of hand and power tools, be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods under various weather conditions, be able to understand and follow specific oral instructions, and be able to remember instructions and relay them to automobile or equipment operators. A working knowledge of heavy equipment is preferred.

Requirements

• high school graduate or equivalent
• ability to perform heavy manual labor
• driver’s license with a clean driving record
