About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Streaming/Batch Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. This role involves working with large-scale Stream/Batch Processing systems and requires strong programming skills and experience in public cloud environments, particularly GCP.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Stream/Batch Processing systems at scale
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python
- Experience in Public Cloud is a must, GCP and GCP managed services a strong plus
- Knowledge of Messaging/Stream Processing systems (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka, Kinesis) or Batch Processing systems (e.g., Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Spark)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools (e.g., CI/CD, IaC/Terraform)
- Understanding of Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable streaming and batch processing systems.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, focusing on GCP.
- Apply DevOps principles and tools for CI/CD and IaC.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
