The Strategy & Transformation team identifies emerging opportunities and drives programmatic transformation across MCAPS Core, our customers, partners, and account teams. We design and test new programs, operating models, and customer experiences, then we scale what works to deliver AI-first transformation, customer growth, and measurable commercial impact.
As a Strategy & Transformation Manager for the AI-First Operating Model team, you will help reimagine how MCAPS Core operates in the future – how we deliver outcomes through agentic workflows, what work is assigned to human and token capital, and how we transform our roles, responsibilities, talent strategy and culture. You will bring frameworks and methodologies to business teams, run workstreams in agile sprints, and turn analysis into strategies and recommendations that senior executives can act on. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate your capabilities managing complex programs, developing transformation strategies, and engaging with senior leaders on defining the future of work.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.
• Excellent top down communication skills and strong executive presence

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Think boldly about how work could be done differently, opening the aperture to what is possible with AI and pressure-testing the status quo rather than optimizing around it
• Lead a cross-functional team to define the future-state, AI-first operating model for assigned workstreams, including the vision, workflows, requirements and roadmap from today’s model to that future
• Provide frameworks, methodologies, and advisory support to business teams, equipping them to apply a consistent approach to designing and adopting AI-first ways of working
• Critically assess the current state, develop and evaluate future-state options, and pressure-test recommendations to ensure rigorous, feasible, and grounded in evidence
• Conduct strategic analyses and integrate external research and best practice on AI-first operating models with Microsoft’s own data and input so recommendations are evidence-based
• Partner cross-functionally with business teams, technology teams, HR, and Finance to develop strategies and requirements that span people, process and technology
• Manage the project end to end, scoping deliverables, running an agile teaming model, communicating program status and risk to stakeholders, and creating the mechanisms for visibility and accountability for progress and outcomes
• Embed change management into the program approach, and influence and manage change with key stakeholders across the organization
• Develop written documents, build end-to-end storylines, and deliver findings and recommendations to senior and executive-level leaders through presentations and communications
• Design experiments to test new operating models and ways of working, then scale what works – testing, learning and acting with urgency to turn hypotheses into answers and outcomes
• Advance the AI-First culture agenda, ensuring the organization understands how to embrace AI-first ways of working to amplify every employee’s impact and outcomes we deliver
• Experiment with and adopt AI in your own work, modeling the AI-first behaviors the organization is being asked to adopt and bringing what you learn back into the operating model
