About The Position

As a Strategy Intern, you will be working alongside our team helping do research, craft briefs, and analyze cultural trends. Throughout the internship program you will work alongside our team and experience full immersion into the day-to-day of agency life, from developing briefs, attending brainstorms, research, reviewing creative work, and actively assisting with client projects and presentations. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who gets excited about identifying opportunities and bringing them to fruition. This is NOT a coffee-run and making copies internship! Interns will work alongside the rest of our team, attend meetings, and will be fully immersed in day-to-day agency life. Interns will work closely with their manager and colleagues and will contribute to the work the team is doing for clients. Interns will have the opportunity to present to leaders at the end of their internship.

Requirements

  • Loves all things culture, latest trends, figuring out the who and the why behind the what. etc.
  • Pursuing or just graduated with a degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or other relevant field.
  • Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Enjoys solving problems, brainstorming solutions, and developing a strategic approach to executing a plan
  • Can toggle between analytical and creative mindsets
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative environment (within your own team, with various clients, and with other internal teams at Iris)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. At this time, we are not sponsoring or providing assistance with obtaining work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting cultural, category, and audience research
  • Assisting in writing creative briefs and strategic presentations
  • Monitoring emerging trends, social conversations, and consumer behaviors
  • Supporting brainstorms and idea development sessions
  • Analyzing campaign and cultural insights to identify opportunities
  • Helping to organize findings into clear, compelling narratives for clients

Benefits
