About The Position

The Strategy & Operations Associate is a high-potential generalist on Apptronik’s Customer Transformation & Deployments (CTD) team, which owns commercial strategy, transformation and deployments, pricing, competitive insights, and market expansion. The role serves as an analytical resource for urgent business problems: structuring questions from first principles, conducting analysis, and delivering recommendations that inform pricing, deals, and strategy. It is designed as a development role, with a path to leading a vertical and broad executive exposure. The associate rotates across one primary and one support vertical, reassessed quarterly, to build experience across insights, pricing, delivery, healthcare, and strategy.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in management consulting (Associate to Senior Associate), strategy and operations, BizOps, finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • First-principles thinking, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, build models from scratch, and pressure-test assumptions.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including advanced Excel or Sheets.
  • Ability to produce executive-ready materials and clear recommendations.
  • Exposure to pricing, market sizing, competitive analysis, or customer transformation.
  • Self-starter comfortable switching context and influencing without authority.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL or business intelligence experience.
  • Interest in healthcare, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • AI or robotics experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build models and fact bases for pricing and deal economics, ROI and business cases, market sizing, and use case prioritization.
  • Structure ambiguous questions into hypotheses, test them with data, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain data templates and KPI tracking so insights are repeatable across engagements.
  • Flex across commercial strategy, deal analysis, pricing, and competitive insights based on business priorities.
  • Own discrete workstreams end-to-end, such as competitor profiles, pricing inputs, and healthcare value chain mapping.
  • Connect cross-vertical patterns to sharpen decisions across the Customer Transformation team.
  • Support engagements and transformation-led sales cycles with analysis, value sizing, and KPI definition.
  • Prepare leadership and board content, track quarterly KPIs, and flag risks early.
  • Feed engagement learnings into playbooks, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
  • Rotate across one primary and one support vertical, reassessed quarterly, to build range across insights, pricing, delivery, healthcare, and strategy.
