About The Position

We are looking for a Strategy Lead for our rapidly growing Americas business unit. You will be supporting the regional head of the business in executing on an un-beatable winning strategy in our buy-side target markets including market positioning, sales enablement, pricing strategies, and organizational structures. We’d like you to come with a deep background of the buy-side, and be able to influence and drive our commercial success story.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience from within the investment management function of an Asset Manager or a buy-side consultancy organization
  • Strong understanding of the full value chain of an Asset Management organization, drivers and market landscape development.
  • Insight into the software landscape for investment management and macro-trends shaping the future of the industry
  • Experience with Commercial Strategy, Sales Enablement, Commercial Execution
  • Experience across buy-side vendor system landscape
  • Great communication skills, written as well as spoken

Responsibilities

  • Prepare C-suite reports on market dynamics, positioning and intelligence of the competitive landscape
  • Guiding management in understanding and translating market opportunities into SimCorp’s Corporate vision and strategy
  • Contribute strategic insights on industry innovation and trends, including navigating the competitive landscape
  • Run strategic deep-dives on core subject areas engaging the wider organization, leveraging on your industry knowledge and perspective
  • Contribute to thought leadership pieces in our industry that impact SimCorp clients and community
