About The Position

ZS is a management consulting and technology firm focused on improving life and how we live it. The Strategy Insights and Planning Associate Consultant in the Pharma Industry group will support Oncology-focused initiatives with our clients. ZS’s Oncology team supports oncology clients and programs, helping organizations improve cancer patient outcomes and experiences. The team provides an insights-driven approach that often includes analytics to understand patient behavior and helps organizations become more patient-centric.

Requirements

• PhD or Masters with bachelor’s degree in a field such as biology, business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences and social sciences. In lieu of a PhD, 3-6 years of relevant post-study professional experience will be considered
• Experience working in Oncology or Life Sciences is preferred
• Interest in or familiarity with oncology, cancer care delivery, specialty therapeutics is highly desirable
• High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative

Responsibilities

• Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to support client projects focused on oncology
• Assist in structuring and conducting market research and/or desk research, patient journey analyses and analysis of patient and HCP behavior data, to generate actionable insights
• Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit and ZS's proprietary software
• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations with a focus on oncology, patient outcomes and engagement.
• Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on certain aspects of projects
• Actively support management of the program plan and conduct regular status updates with the client – risk and issue mitigation. You will also assist in driving the project forward to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
• Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZS's capabilities
• Mentor and support development of Associates on your projects and teams
